Hydraulic hose assemblies and hydraulic fluids – rules for safe use
Benefits of the training: Compliance with legal requirements when handling hydraulic hose assemblies and hydraulic fluids. Handling the most important standards, guidelines and requirements of the employers’ liability insurance associations. Early detection of faults, avoiding consequential damage and machine downtime. Possibility of being appointed as a qualified person by the employer.
Potential participants: Persons who, within the meaning of the BetrSichV and DGUV Rule 113-020, are to work as a qualified person for the inspection of hydraulic hose assemblies.
Objectives include preventive maintenance, regular inspections, accident prevention during inspections, and qualification to identify and rectify faults.
Contents of the hydraulics training “Qualified Person” in accordance with BetrSichV and DGUV Rule 113-020:
- Basic knowledge and the significance of the relevant regulations: BetrSichV, DIN EN ISO 4413, DIN 20066, DGUV Rule 113-020
- Hose selection, storage and service life, ideal storage conditions
- Selection criteria for fittings, assembly of a hose assembly
- Labelling requirement, labelling of hoses and hose assemblies
- Assembly procedures
- System contamination, possible causes and effects
- Correct routing of a hose assembly
- Preparing the inspection documentation in accordance with BetrSichV, TRBS and DGUV Rule 113-020
Seminar completion:
“Qualified Person in accordance with BetrSichV and DGUV Rule 113-020”.
After successfully passing the test, the participant may be appointed by their employer as a qualified person in accordance with DGUV Rule 113-020.
The additional practical day is intended to deepen the knowledge acquired and implement it directly in practical exercises.
Target group:
Maintenance personnel, occupational safety specialists, safety engineers, fitters, hydraulic service providers and planners, as well as internal and field sales staff with a direct connection to the topic.
