Thanks to the wide range of variations of valve sandwich plates and subplates, various functions can be implemented through different switching functions. This can be, for example, on\/off actuation, servo actuation, proportional actuation, or manual actuation.    <\/p><h3><strong>Cetop valves as directional valves:<\/strong><\/h3><p>In hydraulics, directional valves are used to either enable or block the path for a working medium, or to change the flow direction. Cetop valves are generally direct-operated and are actuated by a solenoid. The best-known versions are Cetop directional valves with 3 and 4 ports and 2 or 3 positions. These valves have interchangeable spools and are therefore flexible in use.   <\/p><p>The solenoid coil consists of two parts: the coil and the coil retainer. The coil retainer, which is screwed into the Cetop valve housing, contains the armature running in oil. Thanks to this mounting, it operates almost completely wear-free. The inner part is connected to the returning oil and ensures very good heat dissipation. If the installation conditions allow, the coil can not only be fastened to the coil retainer with a knurled nut, but also rotated.    <\/p><p>The solenoid can be actuated with either DC or AC current. If the DC version is used, this results in a very smooth and slowed movement of the spool. With AC current, the Cetop valve generally switches faster and more directly.  <\/p><h3>Cetop valves as accumulator charging valves:<\/h3><p>A Cetop valve is used, for example, in a spool-type accumulator charging valve. These valves are generally pilot-operated and are suitable for pressures of up to 350 bar. With this valve, recharging of the hydraulic accumulator takes place depending on the cut-in pressure. This ensures that, in pump standby operation, full accumulator capacity remains available for all emergency functions. The cut-out pressures can be freely adjusted within certain pressure ranges (100 bar, 250 bar, 350 bar). Furthermore, the leakage-optimized pilot stage of the Cetop valve ensures that the accumulator is only minimally discharged. The compact housing design and the option of mounting the valve to control blocks and power units in a very space-saving manner ensure optimal use of the available installation space. Cetop valves enable optimum system adaptation through various fixed switching pressure differentials (for example 12%, 16% and 21%). In many applications, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bf-hydraulik.com\/rueckschlagventil.html\">check valve<\/a> is already integrated in the Cetop valve, so no additional installation effort is required. When used as an accumulator charging valve, the cut-out pressure is set before commissioning, so no further specialist know-how is required for installation.         <\/p><h3>Functions of Cetop valves:<\/h3><p>The Cetop valve is responsible for controlling the charging of the integrated hydraulic accumulator within a specified switching range. For its function as an accumulator charging valve, the circuit includes a pilot stage with defined hysteresis, a main spool, and a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bf-hydraulik.com\/en\/check-valve\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Check ValveA check valve allows the flow of the medium to pass through in only one direction. The hydraulic accumulator is charged via the pump port through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bf-hydraulik.com\/en\/check-valve\/\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Check ValveA check valve allows the flow of the medium to pass through in only one direction. The main spool opens when the pressure in the Cetop valve accumulator rises above the previously set value of the pilot stage. When the main spool opens, the pump is then unloaded to the tank port. The pilot stage only closes again when the pressure in the hydraulic accumulator drops by the value of the set switching pressure differential, for example due to oil being drawn off.
